Chevet (chevet)
The extreme eastern part of a church or the outside of the
chœur
(choir).
In plan (Wikipedia) the chevet is indicated in grey.
The picture shows the chevet of the Saint-Pierre in Cray (Saint-Marcelin-de-Cray).
