Plan (plan)

A horizontal section of a building, usually made at 1 m above floor level.
The picture shows a combined plan; on the left hand side of the centreline the plan is that of the narthex of the Saint-Philibert in Tournus, on the right hand side it is that of the chapelle (chapel) Saint-Michel, which is located above the narthex.
